  Thank you for writing to me and asking such important questions. You are not the only person who is wondering how to meet and know our Heavenly Father.

  After many years of studying the Scriptures this is what I believe to be the answer. Please let me start from the beginning. It will help you to understand.

  Do you remember the story about Adam and Eve? You know they were the first two people in the world. Our Heavenly Father made Adam first from the dust of the earth. Then He saw that Adam needed someone to keep him company so He put Adam to sleep and took a rib from Adam and made Eve from that part of Adam.

  When our Heavenly Father created Adam and Eve he blew into them the breath of life. I believe this was His Spirit and I'll explain later why I believe this.

  Don't we remember that our Heavenly Father told Adam that he could eat of every tree in the Garden of Eden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? He also said that the day that he eats of that tree he would surely die.

  Now we also know that Eve was deceived by the serpent and she ate of that tree and also gave some of the fruit to Adam. So they died that day right?

  Well, it might seem like the Scriptures have a lie right here because we know that Adam and Eve had children later, after they ate the fruit. They couldn't do that if their bodies were dead though, could they?

  Our Heavenly Father told them that the day they eat of that fruit they would surely die. So we know that Adam and Eve died that day but it was not a death of their bodies but of their spirits.

  This is why our Heavenly Father sent His Messiah into the world, to save the world. His son, Yahuahshua our saviour, said in John, chapter 3 that we must be born again. Why? Because Adam and Eve died spiritually,  all of their children and children's children after them were born spiritually dead. We inherited that from Adam and Eve.

  So what was it that actually killed Adam and Eve spiritually? It was when they disobeyed our Heavenly Father's commandments. The only one they had to keep was to not eat of the fruit of that one tree and they couldn't resist. They broke that commandment and sinned against our Heavenly Father and died that day spiritually. So now we need to be born again spiritually.

  Aren't you wondering now what we need to do to be born again? I mean, that would be the most important thing in our lives wouldn't it?

  First, we need to understand that we are children that came from Adam and Eve. Because they sinned and became spiritually dead, we are born just like them. We are born sinners and spiritually dead.

  What did we say sin is? It is breaking our Heavenly Father's commandments right? Well, isn't one of those commandments to honor your father and your mother? Did you ever disobey them? Have you ever told them or anyone else a lie? Did you ever ever take anything that was not yours but belonged to someone else? Any one of these things is a sin and there are actually ten commandments as well as other laws our Heavenly Father wants us to keep. That is how we know we are sinners. It is when we break His laws.

  We also need to know that our Heavenly Father said that the wages of sin is death.  Do you know what wages are?  Wages are something we get paid for what we do. What mankind gets for sin and sinning is death: spiritual death and then someday our bodies die too.

  After we understand that we are sinners, we can ask our Heavenly Father to forgive us of those sins and then we work hard at not doing things to hurt Him or disobey Him. That's what repentance is. We have the right attitude about not doing those bad things and that  decision and right attitude make us turn away from those bad things. We then want to please and obey our Heavenly Father in everything we do and say.

  The Scriptures also say that if we confess with our mouth YAHUAHSHUA THE  Messiah, and believe in our hearts that His Father raised Him from the dead that we shall be saved. Please notice that it doesn't say, may be or might be, but  we
SHALL be saved.

  For with the heart we believe unto righteousness and with our mouth, confession is made unto salvation. I believe that means that if we believe in our Heart about our Heavenly Father's Messiah, YAHUAHSHUA, AND PRAY TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WITH OUR MOUTH THAT WE CAN HAVE AND WILL HAVE SALVATION. WE SHALL BE SAVED.

  In Revelation, the last book in the Scriptures, chapter 3 and in verse 20, it says; Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him and he with me.

  What all of this means to me and I can tell you is true because it happened in my life, is that if we confess our sins to our Heavenly Father, ask Him to forgive us, and we believe in His Messiah and that He raised him from the dead, we can then ask Him to come into our heart and life, by His Spirit and we will be born again. His Spirit will come into us and we can and shall know Him.

  No we don't and can't work our way to heaven. It is a gift from our Heavenly Father. Some people call it grace and say that we are saved by grace. Well that is true but most people don't understand what grace is.

  When the spirit of our Heavenly Father comes into our heart and life, He touches us in a very special way. Because of that special touch in our lives we want to do good and right things that please Him. We don't want to do the bad things anymore. That's what some people call works. No the works don't save us but if we don't have the works, we probably didn't or don't have our Heavenly Father's hand in our lives working in our hearts.

  It's kinda like saying one shows that the other is there. If we believe and His Spirit comes into us, then we want to do the right things that please Him. Doing those good and right things is what shows Him and those around us that He has done a work in our lives and shows that we are born again. We really can't have one without the other now, can we?

  I do not mean to say here that you are perfect and never sin again, but when we do things that our Heavenly Father is not peased with we need to confess those things to Him and make things right with others we may have done wrong to also.

  Now what do we have here? We know that we are sinners because we were born that way, right? We know that we are also spiritually dead because we were born that way too. Don't we also have promises from our Heavenly Father who cannot lie, that if we confess our sins to Him and ask Him to come into our hearts that He will come into us by His Spirit?

  If you would like to know our Heavenly Father, all you need to do is believe in your heart that His Messiah came into this world and died, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day.  You can say a prayer to Him and ask Him to forgive you and to come into your heart to save you.

  Wouldn't you like to say that prayer now?  If you would, here is a prayer you can say. This is just a sample so you don't have to say it perfectly. You do have to say it from your heart and believe in Him with all your being though.

  Heavenly Father, I know that Iam a sinner. I have done wrong things and sinned against you. I know that you sent your Messiah,  the anointed one, into the world to pay for my sins. I know that the wages of sin is death.  Thank you for sending your Messiah and thank you for your love. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me from my sinful ways. I want to be your spiritual child and live for you Heavenly Father. Now I thank you for coming into my heart and saving me. So be it. Halleluyah!

  Now if you prayed that prayer, the first thing you should do is to go tell someone. That is part of confessing with our mouth that Yahuahshua is our Messiah and teacher. It's also something we have to do to show our Heavenly Father that we are serious, and that we really do love Him.

  After this you should also get your mom and dad to take you to a person who will baptize you in the name of the Messiah. Yes, you should be baptized in his real name too. His name is YAHUAHSHUA and his Father's name is YAHUAH. It is the Spirit of YAHUAH  that comes into us. We should be baptized in the name of the Messiah.

  Being baptized is also a way of showing our Heavenly Father and the whole world that we really do believe in Him and love Him.

  Then it is best if we can get together with other believers and spend time with them. Most people call this fellowship time. The Scriptures say not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.  Getting together with other believers doesn't save us but it can help us to grow spiritually. We need to grow spiritually because when we first pray and ask our Heavenly Father to save us we're born as babies spiritually. Babies need someone to help them to learn, grow strong and turn into mature adults, right?

  It's also important to get together with other believers to stay strong. It's kinda like having a nice hot fire with coals in the bottom. Each of those coals keeps the others around it burning hot. If you take one coal out of the fire away from the others, it will soon get cold and no longer be burning. That is the reason we need the fellowship with other believers.

   Another thing you need as a new born baby is food. Well, your spiritual food comes from reading our Heavenly Father's Word and praying to Him. He will feed you spiritual food and you will grow little by little, day by day. Read  His Word and pray every day. You should probably start in the New Testament. The book of  Matthew is a great place to start.  If you don't have a copy of Scripture or even if you do, "The Book Of Moshiach" is a great place to read Scripture.
