A few Scriptures for all to consider on abortion. I believe these apply to abortion because I can't think of anyone more innocent in our world, than an unborn child. Why can't we choose adoption over abortion? Exodus 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. Deuteronomy 19:10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which YAHUAH your Mighty One giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. Deuteronomy 19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee. Don't we want it to go well with us? Abortion is shedding innocent blood. Deuteronomy 27:25a Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. Woe to the abortionist! Yes, woe to the abortion doctors who will one day stand before the Almighty in judgement. II Kings 24:3,4 Surely at the commandment of YAHUAH (The transliterated name of the Creator) came this upon Yahudah, to remove them out of His sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; 4. And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which YAHUAH would NOT pardon. (caps mine) How much more has this nation been filled with innocent blood? This is a national sin... abortion, that the Scriptures say our nation will NOT be pardoned from. Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth YAHUAH hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: 17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. The following paragraph and this whole page was written in the spring of 2000. Is there any significance to 911? Friends, it won't do any good to hang onto your seat belts. Our day of judgement as a nation is coming. I don't know when, but it will come. You can bet that it won't go well with any of the Judges that passed this wickedness into law nor any politician who keeps it there. No, it won't go well for the abortion"Doctors" who perform the abortions. It also won't go well for this nation. CHOICE? We can say it's a woman's "right to choose or freedom of choice." We can say that we don't believe that the government has any power to legislate such matters. The fact remains, MILLIONS, of TOTALLY INNOCENT children have been murdered. Their only "sin" was being alive at an "inconvenient" time, in most cases. Who gave us power over life and death? Who gave us power over who is to live and who is to die? That is a decision that belongs to the Almighty one of all creation, the First, the Last, the Beginning and the Ending, the Great I Am, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Door, He who created the heavens and the earth, the seas and all that in them is, the Mighty one of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He who delivered Israel out of the hand of the enemy, even out of Egypt and her Pharoah, He it is who will deliver us out of the hand of the evil one and out of the hand of the great Whore, the Mother of Harlots, revealed to us in Revelation 17 & 18. We all know there are situations like in ectopic pregnancies where the mother and child are both at risk and there may be little hope of the child surviving a full term pregnancy and birth. Sometimes there is an unavoidable medical emergency and the child is lost. However, the question remains, could there be a miracle that would allow for a normal birth? There have been women told that their child would never be normal, or wouldn't live and these doctors were wrong. These women's babies were born normal and healthy. Isn't the key here to pray and walk in the Spirit? Ask for our Heavenly Father's guidance and direction. Don't just take a doctor's word for it at face value. Read JoAnne's story. Finally, remember Galatians 6:7-10 Be not deceived; YAHUAH is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of belief. One more thing, our Saviour and all of the apostles preached repentance. If anyone has been led down the road of abortion, we know that you can repent. Repentance is the attitude that brings about the action of abstaining from doing those things that are sin. I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of YAHUAHSHUA ha Mashiach His Son cleanses us from all sin. I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We can turn away from doing sin, which is repentance, confess our sins and ask forgiveness, knowing that He will do as He has promised. He shall forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I'm sorry to ramble here. I just couldn't let this go without being said. ADVERSITY A daughter complained to her father about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved a new one arose. Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. In one he placed carrots, in the second he placed eggs, and the last he placed ground coffee beans. He let them sit and boil, without saying a word. The daughter sucked her teeth and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. In about twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them a bowl. Then he ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her he asked. "Darling, what do you see." "Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied. He brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. She smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. She humbly asked. "What does it mean Father?" He explained that each of them had faced the same adversity, boiling water, but each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. But after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior. But after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you," he asked his daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you like a carrot, an egg, or a coffee bean? " |
