HALLELUYAH
Come Out Of Her My People
                                                                                               Revelation 18:4
Most of us have heard time and again that there is one word that is the same in every language of the world.

Some of us have traveled to other parts of the world and have found this to be true. Some have traveled as missionaries or evangelists and found as quite a surprise, that this one word is the same in every language.

Some of us are linguists and know this to be fact.

Yes, there is one word in your language that is the same in every other language on the face of the earth.

Aren't you wondering how that one word could be the same in every language? The interesting thing is that it isn't only pronounced the same, it also has the same meaning in every language.

You've probably already guessed or already knew that that one word is Halleluyah. Most spell it as Halleluiah or Hallelujah in English but it is pronounced Hal-le-lu-Yah.

Did you know that this isn't really just a word as we may think? This is actually a Hebrew phrase meaning "Praise Ye Yah." As we already know from our studies on other pages of this site, Yah is the short form of our Heavenly Father's name, YAHUAH.

This very word or phrase, Halleluyah, stands as a witness in every land, in every language, in the entire world that our Heavenly Father's proper name is YAHUAH. The short form of His name is Yah.

Knowing this, don't you find it interesting to understand that no one says "hallelugod"?

HALLELUYAH!

PS. It is also NOT halleluhashem.
